| While I applaud the effort to make this plug in. I find myself once again in a situation where I have to replace the current version of MP4 plug in with an older one. This version like the previous incarnation of this plug in causes Quintessential Player to crash when ever an MP4 file is played. It will even cause a crash if an MP4 file is in the play list when the player is launched. |

| This plugin needs far more resilience built into it when it comes to attempting to open lossless AAC files (or AALC as I've heard them called). It works great on "normal" AAC files, but lossless AAC files cause the program to instantly shut down. The Winamp input plugin wrapper plus audiocoding.com's in_mp4.dll work fine in the meantime. |

| There is no such thing as lossless AAC. Apple makes Apple Lossless which is a proprietary codec in a MP4 container. IT IS NOT RELATED TO AAC IN ANY WAY. |

| sorry hi there I've tried playing "aacplus" internet radio (tuner2, does ring any bell?) and I've never managed to listen to those stations. This time I've tried to exclude the mp3 plugin (which automatically reads everything in the .pls file excluding everyone else) and YES I se that the files are recognized and NO I stil can't amanage to listen to those radios since I get "whits noise" instead of music. Byebye, I've adored your cue sheet reader :) keep it up! |

| I also just get white noise with AAC+, even when I turn off all other plug ins, move this plug in to the top, tried different combinations, turned off the DSP plugin etc.
Anyone found a solution to this?
Thanks for continued efforts tho, much appreciated. Will check back in a while to see if there is a fix. |

| Just to let you know, the MP4 plug-in 2.6b.1 doesn't work with the QCD Player 4.51a The tracks show up in playlist but the player will only play white noise. Sorry about this, hope you can fix it soon. |

| Couldn't make it work, dude.
Should I install this FAAD2 lib or something like that? Whenever I try to play M4A files (have not tested MP4 and AAC yet), I get error messages or the file plays but there is no sound except for a periodical tick. Weird huh? |

| It works perfectly with AAC but here is the message when QMP plays a .m4a audio file (ALAC=Apple lossless encoded with itunes or dbPowerAmp)
Decoder Plug-in Error:
Unsupported Audio track type
Gain control not yet implemented.
Thanks shaohao! |

| This file doesn't work, but there's another version that seems to work better. It can be found here:
