Separate video file associations

I think it would be great if I could choose to apply file associations with QCD only to music files while still having the Video plugin installed. At the moment I have to manually deselect the video extensions in the File Associations section of Preferences and then click Apply Now. It would be nice if below the 'All' and 'None' buttons there was a 'Music only' button.
It's just that I usually like to use Media Player Classic to watch Vids, but I sometimes like to drag Videos into the QCD playlist. :)

Along similar lines, could QCD have an option to only load filetypes with which it is associated? I have a 'Downloads' folder which I use to store music and videos and if I add it to QCD while the Video plugin is turned on, even if the file types aren't associated with QCD, Videos will load. This is annoying because I only want to listen to the music, and a 100min video takes a while to load... :rolleyes:

Anyway, any comments on my suggestions? :)

I have to agree with you, QCD should only show in the add files the extensions it is currently associated with.

As for the first one I don't mess that much with filetypes and I'm that kind of organized guy so I won't use that one, but I think it is good to have the possibility of doing it that way.

I'm sure that QCD can't distinguish video files from audio files.
