You can delete them from the threads where they are posted though...

i'm still having problems deleting 'old' attachments
i have to follow a link to the thread hit edit hit manage attachments hit delete and save it all i'm then redirected to the main (forum) page
then i have to go all the way back to my cp to do it all again
at one point i had about 30 images attached that took so long to kill them all (pokemon ha ha ha)
any way of changing this? :cross-eye

Can't you delete them directly from CP? Worked just fine to me.

Deleting attachments from user cp causes no problem with opera 7.23. i just got rid of some stuff. However when close to the limit something odd happens. That is, the red bar turns green again for a whole part, see attachment :normal: :evolved:

hey guys
how do i 'insert' an image without attaching it ?
(from my computer)
if i attach the thing i'm only going to have to remove it
so if i can just 'put' one in my post would be just groovy

Well, what you ask is not possible otherwise. BUT you can start a photobucket account (its free) and upload your images there and then link them in your post with the '' and '' tags.

i'm not seeing .gif movement in attachments or avatars
hosted by quinnware or photobucket
anyone else seeing or not seeing the same? :cross-eye

Are you thinking of the Happy B-Day cudelleirbag post?

Works here. I assume your browser settings allow animation?

Opera 7.6 if it matters.

Todd The Kiwi

i noticed it a while ago, peoples avatars stopped moving
but yeah the two .gifs in that thread also don't move either
i'm using mo'fox 1.0 now, i'll give opera another crack (no pun)
it's just too busy for me aye, i like it nice and simple.
i'll have to disable most of it ha ha ha ;)

I've not seen GIF animations in my windows opera, firefox, and IE browsers in a looong time. But now i suddenly see an animation again, ie this doggie that's running. :) Maybe my opera browser is fixing itself... :ermm:

friggit, opera 7.54 doesn't display them either?
does anyone know of any qcd forum options that refer to .gifs being shown, i don't... :ermm:

edit: aha! so it's not just me :apple:

Zayoos

opera must like you ;)
time to try IE now... :depressed

edit: dang IE doesn't, do it either.
must be a windows or forum setting

Works fine for me under IE/Maxthon.

Qaz

Fine here with Opera. There's an option for gif animations in Opera under Preferences -> Multimedia

In mo'fox the dog seems to be in a lot of hurry, whereas in O he seems to be more relaxed :) (but the gif anim. is working)
*edit: after posting this here, in firefox, the dog stopped running, only to start again, after I did a Hard Refresh*

btw, my Opera doesn't really like me; since I have upgraded it to 7.60 it has crashed a lot :( (mostly when I tried to open a site) can't pin it down to a single thing...

I'm using GreenBrowser, which use the IE engine, and I can see all the gif animations.
