View Full Version : Resizing problems, modifying a skin
I'm trying to modify some skins (like simple in silver) and make their playlists
resizeable. Is there instructions for creating MapBreaks files? Are they important for the resizing? I don't have them at all actually :)
I modified the map.bmp and now I have the resize button on place, tooltips say "resize" when I place mouse cursor on it. But it doesn't work.

Yes, the mapbreaks are VERY essential.
They define where the break occurs in the map (eg map-break...), telling qcd where to break the map and tile the bmp for the resize to take place.
Download matts dev skin mmd3 (http://www.quinnware.com/downloader...kins/QMPexp.qsf) and take a look at the mapbreakv and mapbreakh files... you should get the jist of it pretty quickly.
Also take a look at lich's silicon karma 2 beta, which may be simpler and easier to understand... (find that one here... http://www.quinnware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=480&page=1)
