Avatars isn't good when they are moved above the message, IMO. Takes to much space. (I guess I still have the option to disable them, so I'll stop the blubbering now... :D )

I really like this one better than the old one. I thought I was the first one to see this since my bookmark to QCD still points to "beta.quinnware.com" but oh well, you can't be the first one in everything... :D

I have checked it out and here are my thoughts:
1) I agree with Tokelil and -swt- (avatars with other info should go on the left).
2) I liked location info next to a name (this is international forum and i think it's good to see from where everybody are, without going to user profile :) ).
3) I like some new things such as Calendar, Quick Links.
4) The new look is nice, but i have to get use to it ;)

For the most part I think the changes are extremely awesome! I love the new look, new icons, new Control Panel (much better), etc.

But, honestly, I really do dislike each response being in its own seperate box. I think that looks pretty awful... disorganized, and it takes up a lot more space than it needs to. Avatars and Information should stay on the left (had to edit this... I messed up and said on the right), and each reply shouldn't be boxed in its own..... uh.... box. And there needs to be an emoticon with a tongue sticking out... because I just now felt the urge to use one after that last sentence and it wasn't there! __ <-- There too. :P

Anyway, very nice job with the forums, I love pretty much all the changes a lot! Just that one thing about the Avatars, etc being on the right... that's it!

I like it too. Especially navigation sems to be more faster now. New coloring is great otherwise, but those palegreen smilies etc. look awful. And like most have already mentioned, avatars were better on the left, but if you would cut a bit from their size, they might be allright on the top.

OK. Here at work, it's variations of plain-jane grey with green accents.:( Looks much better at home. Here, the smileys are all green/white. At home, some remain yellow, and some are green/white. Still, the layout is great.

so YES, i can see that !
and it looks good for me !

and i think, the round Button to open/close a Sub-Forum should be green too !

It seems that it is that only on some computers, which is bit odd. I'm now in school and they're really ugly. Lost my internet connection from home for a while, so don't know how it looks there.

Does the "New Posts" show you posts since the beggining of the day or posts since your last visit?

As Zayoos said I also think it's nice to have ppl's location next to the username.

The forums looks much more "slyck" than before :) good work!

you may want to set the domain value in your cookies to ".quinnware.com" instead of "www .quinnware. com". some links i have still use the "beta .quinnware. com" domain (which works fine) except that it uses two different cookies. so if i'm logged in the forum on beta.quinnware but want to check my profile, the link actually takes me to that page as if i'm already logged out.

I'm in agreement with Darin and Lich. It's really hard to read posts with all the poster information at the top of the post rather than off to a side. There's too much space between the posts and it interrupts the flow.

Is there anyway to perhaps do a version of the forums with the poster's info at the side?

The colors are OK, although the smilelys look like they've come down with an illness. :)
