What fileformats for screenshots

Sorry if this info is hidden somewhere in the forum, but my search didn't turn up anything.

When I uploaded my Playlist Sample plug-in I had originally attached a screenshot in png format. (225x225 = approx. 4 KB) But it wouldn't let me upload. It just told me that there was an error, but the error "field" was empty so I tried without png and it uploaded fine. So I guess you don't allow png screenshots? (Maybe you could add what formats you allow along with the other requirements.)

I cursed the same thing for couple of days. But at least jpg and if I remeber right also gif is supported.

I just tried to update my plugin, but when pressing the update button the next page is empty with this message at top:
Cannot Open: ../template//yourdevzone/upload_form_update_plugin.html

so png should work...

I doubt all of those is allow when uploading a screenshot to a plug-in... None picture formats wouldn't make much sense.

You should also be able to upload PNG now.

Edit: Under "Plug-in File" in the update section it says:
"leave this feild blank if you do not wish to update the screenshot."
(The same is under the Screenshot:section)

I guess it should be samething like:
"leave this feild blank if you do not wish to update the plug-in."

Hmm still doesn't work with the png file. Worked fine when I tried with a jpg.

Btw. now that we are discussing the plug-in upload thing, I was wondering how to name my plugin files. I can see it is renamed when I upload and I guess either you or Paul does that manually, so would it be better if I uploaded the plugins following your naming scheme? (with gen_ prefixed)

If would be nice if when going to "Your Devzone" that it would choose "Your Plug-ins" as defualt when I haven't uploaded any skins.
