Hi---

Well, here I go again. I'm wondering if there is any way to have a plug-in vis display in 2 different areas (say for instance a small window on the main body and a vis extension as well). It wouldn't have to be visable in both places simultaneously. I realize I could use the external vis window to do this, but the issue there is that the external vis window isn't well behaved when it comes to docking, dragging, remembering size and position, etc. Ideally could use my vis extension as an "external" vis, it's already resizable and draggable, but QCD doesn't seem to like 2 vis locations on the same skin. Is there a way to do this? Anyone?

What's the problem with the above?

Only one plugin visual region is allowed on a skin. This probably won't change.

It's not a problem really, I think it's just inherent in the design. Let me explain what I meant. If I open an external vis window, drag it over and dock it on the bottom of the main body, I can drag the player around the desktop and the external vis will follow. However, if I close the external vis, drag the player elsewhere, and then reopen the external vis, it opens where it was last closed instead of docked to the player as it was when I closed it.

I guess I could have chosen different words on my first post. The external vis is really predictable and repeatable. (and well behaved in that sense) It just doesn't do what I want it to do.... oh well, I think I can survive anyway :D ......thanks once again for the quick reply
