single click to play file or track?

New user here - I may be missing the obvious, but i can't find a setting to make a track on the cd or a file play instantly when i select/click on it. I realise that right click and add/play does this but is there a way to bypass the playlist feature and just have the Q player respond to simple doubleclick play choice?

ok thanks and ...
yes, doubleclick opens Q player and starts playing the chosen track.
Doubleclicking a FURTHER track adds that track to the playlist but keeps playing the original (first) track.
Is there a way to have the player skip directly to the next chosen track?

yes, hold on i'll look in the prefs.

prefs - system integration - loading and explorer - explorer integration:
UNtick "append files to play queue.."

but i've only had one coffee so far too :p

Thats exactly what i was looking for - tech and manual instructions seem so obvious once you know what they mean LOL. Great program, now i REALLY love it.

the MAIN difference [there are many though] with the newer builds is the addition of a media library.
i don't use it, some do some don't.

you probably won't get shot for not using it :p
