error msg box - can't find eq10core.dll

Help with this please?: When I run QMP, I get something to the effect of the above message box. It also says that QMP cannot proceed, and that re-installing may help. It doesn't help. If I click on ok a few times the box doesn't come up any more, but QMP starts grabbing all of the processor time and I have to shut it down. This setup ran fine before I re-installed XP Home recently. Thanks to all. Steve

eq10core.dll isn't part qmp. A guess could be that the file is part of you soundcard driver or part of some codec. You could try with another output plug-in (rename the ones you don't use, so they aren't loaded) or try removing the video plug-in to rule that out.

Thanks a lot - I appreciate it. It was an equalizer plugin. I'm not sure but maybe, 4.51 is set to look for the .dll in app settings where I guess it's supposed to be. Steve
