Icons don't work

I've got an annoying problem with the QMP icons here (well, two actually, but I thing they're connected).
Firstly, The qmp file icons don't work. I just get the blank page-icon for all qmp-associated files.
Secondly, I can't change the file and player icons. I have imported an icon pack, but it doesn't work.
The Icon's function does get the 2 stars, but the preview doesn't change.
Rebuilding the icon cache doesn't work.

try manually adding the files types with the file icons [per extension] feature.

Try to launch QMP with admin rights and set them.

How exactly do you run qmp as admin?
If it's via win+R ("This task will be created with administrative privileges"), it doesn't work.

Normally you just right click qmplayer.exe and choose run as administrator.

Hmm, reinstalling QMP is a bit less drastic, and proved just as effective. ;)

I am getting a yellow selected indicator on some icons when selecting groups, moving it because it says 1, but unit 1 remains in place? Sometimes, it says Ive selected unit 1, I move it, but it doesnt move unit 1 or the rest of the units.

I release the icon and it just sits there where I released it, not attached to anything.
