Last night - like every night - I used the QMP timer to shut down my pc automatically. Only, it didn't shut down last night. This morning my pc was still on, but in stand-by. So I moved the mouse until it woke up, and I could just catch a glimpse of an error window titled "exception" before the pc did shut down - just when it wasn't necessary anymore.

Since it was an "exception" it probably won't be reproducable and I don't know if it's caused by QMP, but I think this section of the quinnware forum is the most approprate place to post it.

Well it's only appropriate if you can reproduce it ;)

I can't reproduce it but this has happened to me once or twice in the past. I fear this may be a difficult issue to resolve as it may well be another program that is refusing to play nice and shut down that is creating the exception.

For what it matters, this is me again, logging in incorrectly. See the New Post Weirdness thread.
