Bloody hell.
Yet another bug.:depressed
Suddenly, when I pressed my play/pause hotkey (F2), nothing happened (jep, "nothing" came quite sudden;) ).
I checked the preferences and found the status of my hotkeys to be "error: invalid cursor handle". I tried removing and re-adding them, but when I pushed the button nothing happened. It just kept displaying "awaiting keypress".
After a reinstall, the problem seemed to be solved, but a while later they malfunctioned again.
I tried once more to re-add them, to no avail.
I strangely it were only the once that I usually use that didn't work. Any other hotkey was registered and worked fine. For a while, that is, because after a restart of QMP they refused service again.

Am I the one who finds all the severe bugs here?

Your keyboard is dying?

Hmm, d'you really think that could be it?
Well, the F2 works fine for sure, so nope, keyboard is ok.
Besides, I would be appalled if it were dying.
That's a Logitech classic, they should be rock solid and spillproof. >_>
And it's not more than one and a half years old.
A keyboard should be able to last that long, eh.

the hotkey plugin was updated last build, so it might be a good idea to clear your hotkey settings and start from scratch. to do that, close qmp and open the text file plugins.ini. search for all sections (in square brackets) containing something like "hotkey" and remove them and all the settings they contain. save the file, start qmp, and re-add your hotkeys.

and yes, please make sure all the keys on your keyboard work as they should ;)

Deleting the hotkey stuff worked.
I wonder for how long though.
