Quintessential 4.11 will not play audio CDs. More specifically, the CD will "play" but there will be no audio when the volume is upped. Quintessential is the default audio player. It plays MP3s fine. Windows Media Player will pla the CD. The audio CD is not enhanced with any software. The audio CD is not a burnt CD.
Any suggestions?
No problem, here is the fix:
Go into Preferences->Plugins->Input, select the CD Audio plugin and click Configure. On the Playback Methods tab, set each CDRom to use Digital Extraction instead of Standard Playback.
(Drew, maybe FAQ this?)

Either go into the CD Plugin Configuration and change playback to CD Digital Extraction or connect the audio cable from your CD drive to your soundcard.
Edit: Heh Paul beat me to it.

Thanks guys. I thought the fix you recommended didn't work at first then I remembered I have two disc drives (CD and DVD)... All is good.
