MP4 Plugin Differences

Shaohao, am I correct in thinking that the MP4 plugin available on the input plugins page (v1.2 beta) is based on the 'deprecated (http://audiocoding.com/faac.php)' FAAD, while the plugin posted in this thread (http://www.quinnware.com/cgi/discus4/discus.cgi?pg=next&topic=3&page=5981) (v2.0 RC1) is based on the more recent FAAD2? (I just make this assumption based on similar version numbering to Audiocoding.com) :confused:

yes, 2.0Rc1 is more recently.
I'm reinstalling my system. MP4 plug-in will be updated later.

Thanks for the RC2 update shaohao! As far as I can tell after testing, this fixes all gapless problems I was having. :)

One difference I noticed is that I cannot select the 16-bits dithered option. Why is this?

The author has disabled "16-bits dithered" now.
Maybe he will enable it in next version.

RC3 will be released soon.
