View Full Version : Display Media Library Correctly in Small or Medium Mode

When using QMP in Small or Medium Mode, the Media Library always opens with the Folder Tree partially obscured (see Pic 1). If I drag the column across to the right to display it correctly, the position is not saved the next time that I open QMP.
The strange thing is, if I switch between Small and Medium Mode, the Folder Tree will automatically display correctly without me having to manually fix it (see Pic 2).
Is there a way to get it to display correctly every time I open QMP in either Small or Medium Mode? :ponder:

I thought the tree view width was reset when the ML is closed upon closing QMP. If you close ML → close QMP then → tree view reset
If you open/don't close ML → close QMP then → tree view OK.
Still, it's not supposed to do that.

Sorry mate. I don't understand what you are saying. Maybe I have had a big day.

I think what markdetoffe is saying, is that if you minimize the ML, then close QMP, then when you open QMP again, the ML resests to show the narrow tree veiw. But, if you don't minimize the ML, close then open the player, the tree veiw stays where you adjusted to. I think..
At least when I tried it, it worked this way.

That's indeed what I meant.
But I *think*, although I don't seem to be able to find it atm, that I've read that on this forum instead of finding it out myself.
Of course, if you insist on giving me the credit for it... :cheeky:

Yes, it is. And I think a little quicker to load also.

I agree . A little faster load. And the tree veiw size...AAAhhhh! Much nicer.

Just one other minor thing. The "All Audio Tracks" is a little long and is a waste of column width space. Could that column be titled "All Audio"?
