I have no idea at the moment whether the problem is with the player or with something on my system, so perhaps I'll wait to see whether anyone else reports the same symptoms. At all events I had no such problem with Build 67.

Yes, QCD build 68 crashes (windows closes it without confirmations), when i'm trying to add some files to playlist (pressing "add" button in playlist or "ins" hotkey).
The problem was solved, when I switched off QCD video plugin. I had the same problem with QCD build 67. But build 66 works ok and has no such problem.
Try: go to Preferences->Plugins->Playlists and unchecking the ASX playlist reader.
Scratch my above idea. I doubt anymore that it would help.
What type of files are you trying to load when it crashes? I also assume it crashes after you select the files to load?

QCD crashes right after pressing "ins" (or "add" button, doesn't matter). "Add files" dialog doesn't even appear.
When I switch off video plugin, all works as it should.

What version of Windows?
Windows XP Pro sp1
And again - build 66 had no this error, builds 67 and 68 do have it.

I'm also using WinXP Pro SP1 and have no such problems at all, even with the video plugin enabled.

Paul, I think the problem caused not by video plugin itself, but by some combination and/or number of active input plugins.
I switched on video plugin, but switched off module plugin (QCDModPlug.dll), and everything works ok.
But... When I switch off f.i. all plugins except default mp3 plugin, video plugin and module plugin - all works ok.
So try to install all input plugins and switch them all on. Maybe you'll be able to re-produce this bug.
I have installed and active (in the following order):
MPEG-Plus plugin 1.14 - active
Monkey's Audio Plugin v1.20 - active
Quinnware CD Audio plugin v4.06 - active
MP4 Plugin v2.0 RC3 - active
FAAD Plugin v1.0b - active
FLAC Plugin v1.1.0e - active
MIDI Input plugin v1.7 - active
MAD plugin v0.14.2b - active
Quinnware mp3 plugin v3.57 - inactive
Quinnware mp3PRO plugin v1.13 - inactive
Shibatch mpg123 plugin v1.18y ot50a - inactive
Module plugin v1.11 - active
Speex decoder v0.7.5 - active
Quinnware video plugin v1.15 - active
Quinnware Ogg Vobis plugin v1.72 - active
VQF plugin v1.20 - active
Quinnware WAV plugin v3.86 - active
Windows Media plugin v1.23 - active
WavPack plugin v1.70 - active
LPAC plugin v0.2.1 - active
This combination works ok.
But if I switch on now any from currently inactive plugins, I'll get crash AFTER "Add files" dialog.
If switch on all plugins listed above, I'll get crash BEFORE "Add files dialog".
If switch on all plugins except Module plugin, it works without crash.
If switch on all plugins except Video plugin, I'll get no crash also.
Build 66 works even when all listed above plugins are active.

Just downloaded and testet build 69. Problem still presents.
Paul, how can I help to find out the reason ?
