Video Displaying Upside Down!

A couple of my videos (downloaded from the web) playback upside down! All the rest of my videos are fine. Can you help me please?

They play fine in Windows Media Player so I guess it's something to do with qmp

One of the files is 'Van Morrison - How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live (Live On The Old Grey Whistle Test)' and the information in the 'properties' when playing it in WMP is :

Video: DivX 5 704x528 25.00fps 1101Kbps [Video 0]
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz mono 128Kbps [Audio 1]

The file extension is .avi

I've just played it OK in the very small and basic application Classic Media Player.

There's some stuff on the internet here (http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/null/2694) about videos playing upside down and it has something to do with codecs, layers, filters and stuff which I don't pretend to understand :normal:

I posted this bug in the bug tracker some time ago so it should be taken care of.

arthur lee - are you using the old version of the player?
the latest [and quite stable] version is β117 give it a try mate.
