Here is a preview of my upcoming QMP skin. I cannot yet say when it will be complete but if you like it then that will surely motivate me to get it done as soon as I can.

This should be in the "What do you say", thread, but I couldn't resist. So, I say "Get er done". Looks cool.

Well not how I like my player to look like, but I'm sure it will pretty popular anyway.

Nice mate. Very Visterish. Looks like "Computer" in Vista.

Looks good to me. Though I'll probably return to the default as I always seem to do.

You guys are going to LOVE this skin. It's working out so well! I can promise I'll have it done by the weekend! With the alpha plugin, it really looks like you are running Windows Vista (if you don't have it and if you do, you will make the mistake of thinking it was 'windows explorer'!).

Done. Keep an eye out on the skins page.

EDIT: IMPORTANT. DO NOT install the alpha plugin in Windows Vista. It just crashed the OS here.

Wow, easily the best skin I've found yet for QMP. Great job, thanks! There are just a couple of little glitches, but I'm new to QMP so maybe I'm doing something wrong. Some of the buttons seem to be misaligned or in the wrong place. Is there any way to fix that?

Can you post a screenshot please? AFAIK it looks fine to me. Thank you for your comments :)

Thanks for the reply, I've attached a screenshot. I'm using XP MCE, QMP version 4.51a, and I just downloaded your skin the other day.

You are using QCD not QMP. I bet that is the problem. Look at the download links on the homepage.

BELBHD is correct. Get the latest development build of QMP b118 on the homepage.

:o Thanks guys, I didn't realize that there were two different versions. It works great now.

Just noticed that there were in fact some graphical anomalies. One of the downsides of having used a cheaper TFT screen (it doesn't display all the colours in the 16.7 million colour display). I fixed them. The skin should be updated by tomorrow on the skins page.

Î like this skin quite a lot...Very concise indeed.
But there are three things I wanna mention anyway, such as:
If I listen to a CD, it should show "CDDA Format Sound" in the lower area. But unfortunately, the A is cut off. The Repeat Button should also be able to switch to Repeat 1, such as in Q-Life skin or which-so-ever I would love to see a little button for direct access to the preferences. Or do I just overlook it?

Don't misunderstand me, it is a great skin. As I use it daily, these are the things that come across my mind :)

There is a main menu button, only one click away from preferences... I'm not going to add a preferences button, sorry.

I can expand the music format area
I can make the repeat button have that extra button state

Let me know if there's anything else. I might be able to make the changes by this weekend.

Allllright, that's godd, hadn't seen that, thanks :)

Wonderful :)

Would it be possible to add an image for the Pause state to the Play button?
Ah yes, and what about a system message area, let's say in the bottom?

The track title in bold might be an option in the info area.

I dont need to change the skin for that. You can apply any font at what ever size to the various skin elements yourself. See preferences -> skin -> fonts.

Here (http://geoverse.eu/stuff/qmpvistaglass.qsk) is the latest version that has a fake transparency as in Windows Vista. I wont upload this to the skins page because it's not that great really. Maybe you like it??

Here is a pic of Rex's Vista skin in action. The thing I love about this skin is it is so functional. Lovely job. More skins along this layout style would be great. Many other skins that I have tried are too disjointed.
