Toshiba showed off it's 0.85 inch hard drive. Sampling in summer of 2004 with mass production by autumn. 200,000-300,000/month. They will be 2 and 4 GBs. I wonder how much companies will charge for a drive that small in an mp3 player? I think it would be great to have that in a digital camera.

man alive.... that is awesome. so many possiblities. those should replace compact flash cards for sure.. about the same size. should revolutionize the portable audio market as well.
can't wait to see a 20GB drive that big.

Didn't Secure Digital replace Compact Flash in most devices?

I think its mainly ment for mp3 players....toshiba has a real nice hd mp3 out (only in japan :( )...not using this technology mind that. Just dont give it to apple so they can give us more craptastic mini ipods.
