cant get it to work

i dont know if i'm stupid orrrr this is not working for me, i'm trying to convert m4a files to mp3's and i dont know how to use this program. if anyone could help me out i'd be very greatful

You should be able to just right click on the m4a file and select Convert To->mp3

Where are you getting the M4A's at? If this is something you grabbed of ITMS, you're probably SOL until the crack for Apple's DRM (http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/34712.html) becomes widespread. If these are your own rips that you're making with itunes (but if they were, why couldn't you just rerip?) or rips that someone else made with itunes, I don't know what the problem could be. Either way, I'd suggest Nero's DRM-less MP4 (AAC) encoder over Apple's AAC encoder.
