qcd hangs

I have problem with qcd... It started with (i dont really remember witch) some recent version of qcd... I think its 4.something
Sometimes it just stop playing, and when I press next or play it hangs... Maybe I installed something I shouldnt, I dont know. If someone knows what the problem is or have the same let me know...

What file format are you playing? Also, what is the input plugin you have installed for that format? What non-standard plugins have you installed? What Windows version?

I play mostly mp3 and using standard mp3 plugin. Until recently I didnt had any non-standard plugin and the problem was there. I instaled video plugin, mp4 plugin, and sonique vis plugin. It all runs on WindowsXP.

It doesnt happend very often and i cant figure out the situations when it hangs.

My comp is Celeron4 on Gigabyte motherboard 8ie533, 512Mb DDR, Ati Radeon 900Pro and I didnt had any problems until 4.some version.

Try switching the playback plugin to one of the DirectSound plugins (Preferences->Plugins->Playback).
