adobe only does 16 bit recording ?

does anyone know how to convince adobe audition how to record at 32 bit ? it appears to , but when i re-open the file it's 16 ? i'm using a flac plugin (heigar :D ) to no avail but if i use s/forge to copy it and adobe to squish it into a flac no problem ? just adobe being stubborn i suppose , any input is welcome . . .

o.k forget that i'm not paying attention to the settings :eek: it's doing it at 32 just .flac giving grief and changing it to 16 ?????
