this hasnt happened to me yet but i can see it happening at some point.
the physically delete button doesnt have a safety on it, which isnt exactly
bad, ive taken them off winxp options also, but in, say, retro mode of
the default skin, if the player is at the bottom of a screen and you press
the del button, the menu goes upwards and the 'physically delete' option is
right there. it could easily be hit on an accidental double click.
windows itself is kind of guilty about this itself by putting the delete option
between rename and create shortcut. its not a very sensible place to put
it. there i have made a few horrible mistakes but i dont like clicking the
saftey every time i want to delete something.

just a thought.

Even if you did... QCD sends it to the Recycle Bin, so, it could easily be recovered. Because it is being sent to the Recycle Bin, there is a "Are you sure you want to send [song.mp3] to the Recycle Bin?" message...

The option used to be right on the main level of the right click menu then people complained and now it is in a submenu. There is really nothing else I could envision that would make it any safer.
