i upgrade to 116 but can't get it to play any of my files. The same was the problem with 115 so i had to go back to 114. With 114 everything is fine but with both 115 and 116 it plays the some for some 8 seconds and crashes. any help??

Does it give you any information when it crashes? (Crash location and dll name for example)

The crashes occur on vista. I have QMP installed and even with nothing in the ML it craches. I have tried disabling the replay gain but it didn't help. no information id given on the cause of the crash. On XP 116 works perfect.

Thanks

Well I run b116 on Vista 32-bit at work 5-7 hours streaming radio a day without problems. With all default plug-ins installed... Not sure what to surgest.

Hi, I have the same problem with Vista.
I tried to run it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode, and it crashes the same way.

The error that Vista reports is:

This happens when after adding the files I press Play.

I tried to add the directory to the Library, the search is made, but at the very end the program crashes and no file is added to the library.

I'll try with the 114 version to see if the problem persists...

BTW, version 116, freshly installed with no alteration, fully default.

Windows, is Windows Vista Ultimate.

---------Edit---------
I don't find the older versions, will try with 4.5.1.

Im running b116 on both Vista x86 and x64 with all plug-ins and haven't had any more craches than on XP. Not sure what to suggest.

When I selected a station from shoutcast I got a message saying it was connecting, not buffering, but connecting, after about 30 seconds I stopped it. I selected another station that I knew would play and I got a message saying QMP encountered a problem and had to close and QMP shut down.
Also when I was listening to BBC 6 from their site I tried to add it to the library and favorites, and I had a major sytem crash with a blue screen saying some software or new hardware was corrupt and the system had to shut down. I had to do a hard shut down, my whole system was frozen. I'm running XP service pack 2. B116

β116 is a total crash monkey here aye.
I've never had so many weird 'disappearances' before :ermm:
no freezing, no wigging out just *blip*, gone.

116's been a pretty problem-free build for me... :paranoid:

If you are using the Media Library, try deleting:
ML_GNPlaylist.dll
ML_GNMusicID.dll

It also makes QMP a lot more responsive without that &*^%#$#.

Where do you find the files to delete them?
Thanks
