Amadeus Crashes QCD

I'm trying to record CD 1 of the Amadeus soundtrack recording. Disk 2 actually recorded just fine, but disk 1 is crashing QCD. Of course, I have no idea why. Is there something I could try to get beyond this problem?

Every time I tried to rip a CD into mp3, it would work for a bit then it would freeze at like 30% of some song (percentage not really important) and not work anymore until I reboot the computer. Never crashed QCD though.
