Howdy do.

It started with build 114, just before 115 came out. It also happens with 115. Took me a bit to relate it to QMP, though I am still not entirely convinced QMPs the culprit, its all I got. =-{

When I play some MP3s, usually from indie podcasts, my entire PC will freeze. No blue screen, no warning - just freeze. Sounds stops, kb and mouse don't respond, and screen is frozen with whatever was going on. I have to reboot to recover. If I go back and play the same mp3, it happens at the same part in the song.

Any ideas what might be happening (and how I might fix it)?

Thanks!!

QMP is one of the few remaining players that use WaveOut directly and some soundcard drivers aren't used to that. Go into Preferences->Plugins->Playback and choose the Crossfading Directsound plugin instead. Or, you could try updating your sound drivers for Windows.
