just wondering which output plugin supports 24-bit 48khz output?

Directsound xfading. If your soundcard supports it, you should be able to select it in the drop list under the device/buffer tab. Note, you can disable xfading if you dont want it.

For input plugins, MAD supports 24/32 bit output. You could try that as well.
