I have downloaded several dsb's for qcd off the winamp site and all except one are not even read by QCD. Do I need the plugin that QCD offers at the DCB section of Plugins to use Winamp dsb files? IF so, why isnt the download working when I go to download the plugin. I'd really appreciate any help.

Do you mean DSP's? If so, try enhancer from the plug in page. It should be put in the main plugin folder along with enhancer.set (a skin file). There should also be a sub-folder (enhancer) and a sub-folder in that (017) for all the extra skins.

yeah, thats what I meant, DSP's. But I went to the Dsp section at quinnware.com under plugins and tried to download the winamp plugin for it and the page has errors and wont let me download it! Maybe some1 who does have it can send it to me through the email?

There is no plugin to download, the functionality is built into QCD. That link on the plugin page just brings you Winamp's DSP plugins.

Oh ok.. I Kinda figured that, but when almost all of the dsp plugins i downloaded off of winamp didnt work i had my doubts. Thanks for clearing that up, but now my next question. I would like to listen to the radio on QCD, but spinamp requires you to download Realplayer which i dont want to do and the ShoutCast plugin download for QCD under the"general" plugins download page wont download. The page wont load no matter how much you clikc refresh. I tried downloading it for winamp but I cant find it! Could some one give me a link that WORKS that I can download shoutcast for QCD with? or maybe some othr radio like icecast? or something?

I usually just go to shoutcast.com and click the Tune In button. Or drag the Tune In button to the player.

It doesnt work for me now that I've tried it! How do you get QCD to automatically play the .pls files? I tried dragging them onto the playlist but it wont play anything. All the tune in buttons always show up on QCD as ShouTcAST playlist and wont play anything. When I just click it winamp opens up and plays the file perfectly! Any way sto make QCD automatcially open it when i click it? Or make it stop saying shoutcast playlist when i drag it like u said?

What I've done is go to a site (forgot which one- check google for "realplayer old versions), get version g2 or realplayer8, confiure it only for the player - no shortcuts, startup or otherwise, uncheck all the "extra" stuff especially the "call home stuff" and-in effect-hide it. Just let it run in the backround for the radio streams. This works for me. As for shoutcast, I've had no problems getting extra copies for other machines. Really don't know why you are having problems downloading the file. Maybe Paul or Matt can help here. Oh yeah, you'll get occasional warnings that you have an older version of realplayer .. ignore them.

Go to Preferences->File Associations in QCD, make sure the playlist formats (PLS in this case I guess) is registered to QCD and not Winamp.

As for dragging the Tune In button...I just tried and it doesn't work for me either, hmm I thought it worked but I guess not.
