I'd use firebird as well, if it wasn't for the strange problem im getting with the icons in the taskbar. They seem to interfere or overlap or something. For example part of the 'back' icon can be seen in the 'forward' icon, etc. So i stick with Mozilla, good browser as well with some xtra features. :p

K-Meleon v.0.8.2, with appropriate tweaks, beats all other browsers for speed on my machine.

Using an old Nividia graphics card? Older drivers might help. Known issue with the latest drivers.

I'm sure the problem has been filed in Bugzilla and will be fixed soon enough...
And I hope you enjoy Firebird...

twiggy is blind :p ...firebird does have problems downloading, though. You know, when it gives a bunch of random characters instead of downloading it.

haven't experienced thet yet, but i've only been using it for 24 (or there abouts) hours . nice how it offers to open the download or show me where i put it ! :D very helpful. ticked is the 'keep window open after download' tickbox . also the little picture at the top right of my screen of some mammoth bird type creature squashing what looks like an innocent peanut family day out is kind of funny :D

That's only for certain web servers when the MIME type isn't configured correctly by the webmaster...
And BTW, the PROBLEM'S FIXED!!!!!
It will not happen anymore, the bug is dead!!!
This is available in currently tester nightly builds (not recommended for non-experts or non-testers) or Firebird 0.8 when it is released!!!
Another great step forward in Firebird development...

Today, for the first time in my life, my computer corrected a problem completely BY ITSELF! The buttons are no longer messed up :D Whats more, in msn i also had a problem that for a strange reason all the contacts had green icons even for those offline. That problem just got corrected aswell by itself while i was happily typing away!
