Here is an update on the skin i've been working on. I added the EQ and the speakers will be a visual that can be removed. I still have some kinks to work out, and I need to construct the playlist, media library, and encoder window, but things are going at a decent pace, i'm going to try and getting a working version in a few days, maybe a week or so, we'll see.

Hey everybody check out the new skin I am working on. Nothing is finallized yet, and I have a lot to do still, but here is what i'm working with. Any Idea's and comments would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice indeed. The only thing I would suggest is that some of the buttons look a bit too dark. I love the rest though. :)

Yeah, a bit hard to read without squinting your eyes, but looking good! :bulb: Too bad you cant make the text glow. Skinning limitations...

Glow can be achieved with a custom bitmap text font. Are you using a true-type font for this skin?

really? I'd love to see an example of that! :heart:Cant you just take a bitmap charset and apply a glow to it? Quite a few skins use bitmaps for fonts.

Edit: Looks like the glow can only be black&white? At least my red glow isn't showing as red...

The buttons will be changed slightly so you can identify them better and the text will be more readable. As for the glowing text. I was thinking of doing a custom font bitmap, then adding a glow to it, I wasn't sure it would work though. Guess I'll find out when I try it. Thank you for the comments and i'll update the pic soon, I'm working on the equalizer right now. Having some troubles figuring out where I want everything.

I don't give a crap if you like it or not. One skin isn't going to please everybody. You like it, you can download it, you don't like it, then don't. I ain't gonna lose sleep over it. I design skins for myself and what I want in them. if other people happen to like them, then it's there to download.

I'd like to see you design something. I'm not saying my skins are that great but at least show me what a "real" skin looks like.
