Creating playlist without opening QCD?

Is there a way to create a playlist directly without opening QCD?

Currently to create playlists, I highlight a bunch of files, right-click, select Add to QCD and then once QCD opens, save them to a playlist. I didn't know if there was a better/easier way of doing this. (Something like right-click > Create Playlist would be nice.)
