Hi and thanks for this great application. However, I miss one feature that Musicmatch sports; the ability to save cover art to mp3-files. ANy change QCD will get this feature?

it's quite odd that my machine does this for me without asking or prompting ? you could always 'choose' a picture and stick it to the folder where it belongs (that's plan b) :eek:

What do you mean? When I rip a CD, there is no cover art attached to the MP3's ID-3-tags. I have to do that in MusicMatch.

There is no built in cover art functionality in qcd... but there is a plugin, the only prob with the plugin is it won't display the cover art added by musicmatch... it would be really nice if it did tho... cos ive got a whole bunch of my mp3's tagged by mmjb with album art.
I think there is a winamp plugin that will display cover art added by mmjb... the prob with that is its on winamp, not qcd.... lol :)

By the way, it's not only MusicMatch that has this feature, iTunes has it as well.

I think the best way for QCD to handle this would be via its minibrowser. It already pulls up lots of information about the currently playing track, why not just add the cover art to that page?

Time to pull some strings with Gracenote! :)

yes i like QCD but the ID3v2 Attached picture support is not yet implemented like musicmatch
The cover Art Visual plugin is very good but we cant add a picture in the tag window editor.

but i explained that we cant put the JPEG in MP3 tag like musicmatch.
this plugin is very good (maybe it can be add in QCD directly...) but i want to have the cover inside the MP3 file.

Just out of curiousity, why do you want the cover art in your mp3 files? For a 12 track album, you're storing the picture in 12 files thus using 11 times the necessary hard drive space. Why not just put all your covers in a folder and use the filename template feature in Cover Art Vis?
