Mad and streaming audio.

Has anyone else experienced stuttering playback when using the Mad input plugin for Shoutcast streams? This even seems to happen in Winamp when using that plug in.

I thought at first it was just network congestion, but a quick swutch of plug ins and playback is perfect.

Is there a way to configure QCD to use the default plug in for streaming and Mad for everything else?

All I can say is that it isn't a QCD related problem cause I've tried to listen to the same stream with Winamp 5.02 and the problem is the same. Mad Plugin feature to ask (buffer streaming) maybe ?
