Can't close

I selected the REVERT skin. In exploring the "buttons" I found one for gracenote. It opened another window which won't close, even though I click the "X" at the top. The only way to close this spurious window is to close Qunitessential. But as soon as I reopen it, thbe spurious window reopens with it.

Furthermore, since that happened, sometimes I get in a mode where every time I open Quintessential, I immediately get a window that says the program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. The only way to escape this mode is to shut the computer down and boot it up again and even that is not a guarantee that it won't continue to happen.

seems like that skins gone a bit awry as it does the same in B67, but instead of closing the whole of QCD right click on the bar at the top where it says "revert" and press close.

Sure enough, that brings up the option to close. However, I can't use it because now EVERY time I open QCD I get the popup that says it has performed an illegal operation and will be closed.

How about reinstalling a fresh copy of QCD and leaving the settings at default. That can't give any problems.
