Stream encoding

I happily discovered the encoding feature about a month ago . It works great. However this week I ran into a problem. One shoutcast station "kkstn pagan radio" will play but not encode. A new folder is made but it remains empty. Help!

did you check whether you are saving stream fragments? You probably dont want this to be disabled.

I did have it disabled, not saving fragments. I then changed it, but the folder is still empty.

You are sure you are using the default mp3 plugin? If you are, im afraid i dont know the answer. Try other radio stations or fiddle around with the settings until it works ;)

Thanks for your continued help. I believe I am using the default plugin. Most other stations seem to work fine. One station would work intermitantly, perhaps 30% of the time. The station mentioned above does not encode at all. Can the encoding be blocked by the broadcaster?

I shouldn't think so, but if other stations work fine i guess the problem cant be with QCD. Can you give me the address for the radio station? I could try it out myself.

Hmm, only 5 people can listen to it at one time. That's strange. Maybe that is part of the problem (but probably not). Anyway, I had no luck. server seems to be full quite a long time.
