The QCD base skin provided on the devzone only includes the normal view. Being a n00b at skinning, I'm looking for something designed more similar to what I'm wanting to design (and QCD's runt is VERY similar to how I want mine laid out as far as extensions go).

Is there any way I could get my hands on QCD's default "runt" skin?

In the skin download section you can download the old 3.4 skin. Some things have changed since then, but Im not sure how much. (I havent used the base skin in a long time...)

If you're having problems with extensions... just ask. :)

I was going to mention that, but... the runt mode in 3.4 is nowhere newar the same. I don't think it even has a playlist.

Zip it up and rename it to .qsf (for multiple skin modes) or .qsk(for one skin mode)

the only thing i can do with the single binary resource file is save it as a txt file, i can't access the actual bmp's. Heres a screenshot of what i mean...

The graduate skin by Xymantix is similar to the runt skin. The only thing it is missing is the overlapping extension timer.

I think you need a compiler, you could always :use default skin, and take screen captures of it.I like snagit for screen capture because I can just get the skin instead of the whole screen.

You do realize you can acheive the same thing by making QCD the active window and hitting ALT+Print Screen...

Yes,I do realize this , but sometimes alt-print screen doesn't give me the options I need.
