Video Gone Crazy

Hi,

Anyone having problems with the video window? When i try to play, it "spasms". The screen stays white, and flickers, and will only play in fullscreen mode. I tried default skin because I thought it may be a skinning problem...same thing happens. Searched the forums and may have missed thread on this subject, but as far as i can see , no one else has had it happen. Thanks for any help.

What you may be experiencing is a problem with codecs. Dont have a codec pack installed by any chance? There are some really dodgy ones out there so be careful!

I found this one to be alright: k-lite codec pack (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm). Dont get the full version because then you are only spamming your system.

Or just get a good video player like zoomplayer (http://www.inmatrix.com)or VideoLAN VCL player (http://www.videolan.org/)

Thank you Rex. I'll check into this...I was messin around with Div X, so it could be somthing there. Much appreciated..( trying to slow up on the "eh" thing...ha).
