For some reason ... My QCD play will no longer play my CD's. Neither burned nor store bought one's.
Every time I try. The windows Media Player pops up instead with an error message telling me that it can't play my CD's. And the QCD player doesn't even recogonize my CD ROM's at all. I have gone through all of my setting's on both player to make sure that the QCD player is set to player the CD's. But it still doesn't seem to make a differance.
Does anyone have any idea way this would happen.

Just a thought, check WMP preferences (properties?) and see if it has an "automatically reregister file associations on startup". Uncheck it if it does.

I never could fix the problem I had ... So I went into my C Drive and pulled out the little known about CD player in the Windows XP that exsist's. Now I have a CD player that works with no frills. But is funtional. I am only useing QDC for MP3's and Streaming.
