It's called Swift and it's still in alpha but you can get it here (http://www.getswift.org/).

Cool ! I will try it out soon...
EDIT : Uhmm, guess it still needs alot of development ;) But well, it's an alpha release. Good idea though...
EDIT 2 : Could be my default browser though, if it works properly one day...The WebKit architecture is quite good, isn't it ?

Is it better than FF?
Sorry had to ask!

You know, I've always wanted to try Safari, but could never bring myself to switching to Mac just to do that.
Interesting. Added to my Zombified Bookmarks. Won't be downloading it until at least a beta, and even then I would probably need a lot of alcohol. I am terrified of alphas, betas, previews and pre-release builds.

I know you know that's not possible.
KHTML/WebKit better than Gecko? No, but it ain't bad. As a renderer I'd say it's comparable to Opera.
Nice to finally have a variant of it available for Windows, though. Now I can finally test webpages on it.

99 out of a 100 times there is nothing to be gained (and a lot to be lost...if only time) by not waiting for a stable release.

Tried it on the Mac - it sucked there.

It sucks on XP too. I like consistency.
It's worth noting for anyone who doesn't realize that this is *not* 'Safari for Windows'. In fact, supposedly Apple had promised Microsoft that they wouldn't do that, and in exchange Microsoft discontinued IE for Mac.
Rather, this is a new browser being built on a port of Apple's WebKit to windows. WebKit is the HTML renderer used by Safari, and is itself a Mac port of the KHTML rendering engine, originating in the Konqueror web browser for KDE on Linux (and other OS's that KDE runs on).
Anyway, I tried installing this thing on my compy, and it couldn't register a dll. I couldn't even get it to register the dll manually. Looks like I won't be running this anytime soon.

I tried it... It works... But it's still needs to evolve... and probably will...
