This is a preview of what i'm working on next. This time i wanted to experiment with shininess of objects. Looks good so far and my objective will be full compatibility with the colour chooser.

Yeah, looks good, but one thing : Please, please use other fonts !!
If I am allowed to say that (sorry) these fonts are terrible (I think that the font used for the buttons is the same which you used in "Q")
You're always doing great skins and - in my eyes - disturb them with some funny looking fonts. Again, sorry, this is just a non-professional's opinion...

I like it. The media library will be another window here? I don't see how it could be integrated in this skin. Is that a button for the music browser? I'd rather see a button for visuals (which I use just about as much as the music browser, but still).

I guess fonts are a personal thing. I quite like them. :)

Thanks guys. The font used so far is not the same as the ones used in Q. It was the closest thing i could find that would resemble the Shrek font while not looking identical to it. The ML will be in a separate window. This is the main window, which will not be resizable. Im still experimenting, so some things will change again probably. MB's a button for music browser. The button for visuals will be put elsewhere this time.

Here are some previews. Note that the colours are controlled beautifully using the colour chooser option in QMP.

The good news is that i finally figured out how to get reproducible playlist and encoder windows; embedded and external. This was a pain because i cannot reproduce stuff with internal maps so i had so work around that problem using...hmm wait a minute. That's a secret ha ha. The stick works great.

The less good news is that there are still many many bugs and the ML still needs to be done. By the end of next week this project should be finished. :thumbscrossed:

The skin is done. :) It took quicker than i anticipated. Maybe i missed a bug so let me know if you find something when the skin becomes available for download. Thank you. :cheerful: :coffee:

As I always revert back to the defualt, I wonder what I would use if the default skin was different and someone made what is the actual default. Basically, does the default simply have a better design and layout than any others or is it more of a pyschological thing?

The default skin is simply excellent work because Matt is an excellent skinner ;)
