freeze btwn WMAs [Archive] - Quintessential Forum

Fairly often, QCD will freeze up when switching from one WMA song to another, i.e. it freezes as a song ends. It still says it's playing, but it's not, and it takes up nearly all of my CPU cycles. I have to use the task manager to end it.

I'm using the latest WMA input codec, and the bug occurs while using the crossfading plugin or the direct sound plugin.

Any suggestions?

Are those WMAs downloaded from paid services (such as Napster?)?
Because QMP can't really handle those

..not mine, mostly of them are riped by cd, other are from DC++

I think this is a known issue...I'm just not sure the developer knows how to fix it.
