GAAAAH. WHY isnt QCD encoding/decoding at full speed??? It only uses 10% of CPU time instead of maximising it for max speed. WHY is this??
I dont wanna find a seperate encoder/decoder since QCD does it soo well except for this very annoying thing.

Try changing the priority settings inside QCD, and see if it helps.

i have tried that, doesnt work
Do you have Jitter Correction enabled?

Where can I set up Jitter correction? I searched for it in options everywhere but as you can guess I didnt find it ;)
It's in the CD Audio plugin configuration (see Prefs->Plugins->Input), on the Advanced-Digital tab.

Nopes, didnt have Jitter Correction enabled. Maybe I should add that I mostly encode OGGs and MP3s from my harddrives into MP3 128kbit. Its for my phone, I only have a 32mb SD card for it.. So I do not encode from CDs so that Jitter Correction shouldnt affect anything when Im encoding/decoding from files from my harddrives...?
You're not encoding from CD? Then yes, jitter correction is irrelevant. I'm not sure why it's not using full cpu when converting between formats. Are you reading the source file and writing the converted file both to your harddrive?

I changed to the regular MP3 encoder now instead of LAME and now it encodes in full speed :)
Is there any quality between the standard MP3 encoder and LAME?

There is still a problem here... must be with the LAME encoder. Any more news on this issue?
