New build! Yay!

Not a huge amount of updates because I spent a lot of time working on the docs. Developer guides should be coming out with the next build.

Shoutcast is fixed again. A number of bugs should be closed. Please update any bug reports with what you find with 111.

Coolio.

Thanks.
So far I have noticed that after install, I do not need to reboot to "Install Some Features":)

The fonts in the media library seem to be different/super big now. A way to change this in the player?

They are bigger, but super big? I was just testing the water. I think it makes it look cleaner.

I don't find it an improvement. Things already didn't fit and now I have to scroll even further. I also feel this does not render well in the column headings. Might I ask what you've used?

Adn since this is largely an issue of personal preference, why not make it so?

Great work Paul. Good to hear the docs are higher priority now too. :)

Argh, seriously, 3am? I felt a new build was comming and was refreshing from like 10pm till 2.30am every so often while I was online... I go to bed and then there actually is a new build

Anyway, thanks for the build :) The bigger fonts make it easier to distinguish (in mine anyway) the playcount and tracknumber which I've placed next to eachother.

Still waiting on that toggle pruning mode button!

AYAYAY! Year 'Album Name' and 'Album Name' [Year] schemes in ML are now broken, there's no Year in display. Poor me.

The album tree uses 'year released', and that data wasn't stored in the library previously. So if you re-musicID that year field will get populated.

The problem is I've never used MusicID before. Won't it mess my hand-written tags?

No MID just updates data in the ML. You can set it to just update empty fields if you like.

Actually, identifying tracks with MID does nothing:
"MusicID returned 0 album matches" or "MusicID returned 0 matches for file".

Hmmm. All my mp3's are tagged with Recording Year. And now I can't use it. That's bad.

Yea, MID is probably not the best with Russian tracks. But you're right, it should fall back to the year that is available.

These tracks are 100% English:)
But I see you've found perfect compromise:)

I like the larger fonts. I run my monitor res at 1600*1200 on a 21 inch Sony CRT. I like the fact/feature that I can run the ML maximized, click to medium mode, click back to full mode and see the maximized ML. Sweet. I had never noticed that before and I now have a new method for using QuiMP.

Still waiting for those long-promised audio changes, mon...

I haven't given up yet - should I?

Yo Paul thanks for the new build
Few things, don't particularly like the bigger fonts in the ML, and I can't get gapless playback working for the life of me...
Got a rather huge buffer on the xfadin plug, using the default MP3 plug, yet still a rather sizy gap between songs.
K found my prob, shibatch eq was enabled lol

:cry:Yep, and it has already been submitted as a "new" bug, here:Song info not loaded on playlist load (http://www.quinnware.com/forum/vbugs.php?do=view&vbug_id=1550)
