After the Snow

So, after I'm done with Snow -- which should be like in a day -- I'm probaly going to work on this... It's not done yet. This is a relatively early preview. I've been working on this for 2 days. (The extension on the right is for skinned vizualizations.

There's no name yet, so, suggest one if you want to.

Where should I put the:
open extension buttons
volume slider
?

The idea was to make a smooth handheld-ish player.

I think it's delicious,youngtwig.
I think the extension buttons go to the main body,with long thin buttons,to where the each extension comes out;vertical or horizontal.
I think it would be good to save the anti-aliased (curved) edges just the way they are and make a whiter rectangle around the skin.
I think the name can be MILK.
I think your eyes & hands get better each day.

That's what happens when you screw around. I was just trying to make a phone LCD type thing the other day. Then I incorporated that design into a skin. Then I gave the metal a blue-ish tint and tried to make it a little shiny. :)

That's the awesome thing about Xara X. It's for good for screwing around since it's vector and has unlimited undos.

Looks great, one suggestion: if possible could you make a backlight for the buttons (that surrounds the button). Let me see if I can explain better.... the buttons themselves would be solid and around them a green or whatever color would glow (like the light was coming from the inside of the player)

Can't get that to look any good. I don't want to overdo the green either. :(

sorry, I dont see the resemblance....The skin seems to have a little too much wasted space. Add some flair to the sides...I dunno, maybe grips, speakers, tones, whatever.

I'm planning on starting skinning this soon. I began working on it again about two days ago. So, it'll probably be a while until it's out, but... It will come out someday. BTW, there are some surprises I've left out of the previews.
