OK, why...

...can I not get the EQ working?
I've tried all manner of settings in the plug-ins section of preferences and it just doesn't have any effect. I have the device set to use digital
WMP <spit> can manage it.
I'm fed up trying now

the EQ only works when used with the default mp3 plugin.
Annoying, but thats the way it is...

OK thanx for the replies.
I _only_ wanted QCD for CD playback as I prefer Winamp for mp3s but neither that nor WMP for CDs. :(

Or you can install some DSPs and use instead of the equalizer. Shibatch Equalizer and DeCiSoft Equalizer are both better than the inbuildt one in QCD and Winamp. Both can be found at winamp's homepage on the plugin page. (for winamp 2)
