Like Young Twig said, could be lightened up a bit (electric green?) By the way, copied and pasted shortcut.. worked fine.. and then, the picture showed up in the origional post in this thread, replacing the little box with the X in it.

No, it makes Mozilla smart for learning how to cheat...
Actually, by default that's what comes up in Mozilla...
However, I've modified my Firebird not to send any referrer, like all other browsers would (someone on a Mozilla Forum told me how to do it)...
It's not that I'm not complying, I'm just tricking Brinkster...
Flexibility, the beauty of Firebird...

Lol There are 3 reoccurring issues in many threads: browser wars, how much winamp sucks, and why we cant post a message shorter than 10 characters :D Nonetheless, we must all agree that the QCD forum is one of a kind

No ,I know what you mean,we are all smart enough to use QCD we should all be smart enough to come up with something besides the 3 reoccuring issues.

angelfire.com is kinda silly as well.
freewebs.com also doesn't let you link to images... but they're better than angelfire.
Thankfully, I've gotten to use a real website and not had to deal with those problems... but not everyone can do that. :(

There's also some place where you get free hosting. I think you need a domain though... :(
www.doteasy.com
Does Brinkster allow PHP?
btw, i use www.xstreamhost.com 3 bucks a month gets you 200 megs and 4 gigs bandwith 50 pop3 emails, ftp, unlimited subdomains, SSI, PHP, etc. but, yeah... that's $3/month.

Yeah, but you can't use them outside of angelfire. you can provide a link to the images, but you can't actually use an <img> tag outside of angelfire.

I know this works with Geocities. Just rename your pictures to have a .txt extension and it'll allow hotlinking.
Young Twig

Or just make a simple html file like this:
<img src="image.png">
and link to that.
