Request: Duplicate Track Finder

I know iTunes has this feature, would it be possible to include it in QMP? a simple search that shows duplicated track names for example and the albums they're in, also enabled for portable devices? Then you can look through the list and see what you want to remove or keep (e.g. some could be duplicates, some could be live performances)

the playlist has Remove->duplicates, but yes, this is different.

I know Paul has a lot of things to deal with at the moment, like documents, but I think this feature would be quite beneficial for people with large music collections ... any possibility it could be added?

As well as the "right click minimise to tray, left click minimise to taskbar" idea I had as well. I really would like to see these implemented, maybe it's just me..

This is a file management issue. I have a handful of tools that will do this, notably jv16 PowerTools. I think AnalogX also a tag editor that will locate the files, read the tags, etc.

I think, winamp-like «jump to file blah, blah, blah...» feature will be useful for users who have long play queue...
