A sad day for Babylon 5 fans - it certainly is for me:

So long Andreas, until we meet again in a place where no Shadows fall...

I'm glad you don't too Woods - from what I've seen of you, (especially during the New Orleans crisis last summer), your presence and actions would be sorely missed on this mortal coil.

Got $40?

It's amazing what some people will do for $40.

Perhaps i can interest you in the subject of geology? :) One lifetime is not nearly enough to find out all there is to know. Even i realise that. Astrophysics, biology, management, art, music, history, journalism the list is endless...

Well the rolling stones don't gather moss, I hear.

Thanks for the suggestions Rex. I'm still happy with my retirement. It's just that seeing all these people I've lived with moving on that tends to make me a little sad. The current personalities you younger folk identify with really don't connect with me. Oh well, the present is yours.. Enjoy it.

I understand. Good luck to you anyway. Enjoy the olympic games! I've done little else today than watching it on the telly ;) Btw an Aibo (http://gamma.cs.unc.edu/COMP290-58/aibo.jpg) seems to be a really cool companion doggie unless you've already got a real one. ;)

Yeah is that so? Must be because the robot cat is more popular then ;)

Time magazine (http://www.time.com/time/2003/inventions/invcat.html)

I heard them robots also come as humanoid females. Interesting...

EDIT: Just got a news link from Madjo. Sony has indeed quit producing the doggies as of late Januari 2006. Part of the reason was that people would hack into the dog and make it do funny stuff http://www.aibohack.com/. Also the robot QRIO will no longer be developed and produced. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qrio Pity pity pity
