well i have a few suggestions to make :-
1. after clicking on the playlist if i use the arrow keys (up-down) it changes the volume. well a more appropriate behaviour would be to scroll the plallist (also maybe we can have page up-page down keys down as a faster scroll option)
2. in the file-info for vorbis music files maybe we can show user added tags (winamp style, in the first tab). as of now if i add a tag that does not appear in the standard, classical...etc we cannot read them.
3. can we not have a default file extension (as in winamp), suppose i am downloaing a song from kazza and i wanna preview using qcd. i just drag and drop and ofcourse the file extension will be *.dat or something else. well it should try decoding it as mp3 or ogg or wma... may be we can specify in a textbox or have a dropdown box with all types supported by the player on that machine
the resizable playlist has been incorporated in the dev builds. i had that in my mind for a long time. but we do not have any skins that supoort resizing. skinners start working on that. :)
4. and one more thing. not exactly a feature request but a change with the alpha plugin (my fav plugin) i have set the alpha plugin config such that it becomes opaque on mouse over. but when i drag and drop some files onto the playlist it remains as is. it does not turn opaque. it would be nice if if mouseover effects were consistent with drag and drop as well. this way i can see where i am dropping the tracks
