I recently installed Lich's Icon Pack 2 and after posting a comment about my not liking the 16x16 versions he then posted an update.

But before I got around to update the icons, I installed B67. I installed the icon pack then went into the Icons Prefs to configure it.

For some odd reason, the Icons by File Types list was empty. So I clicked "Add" then typed MP3 and instead of letting me browse for the DLL it gave me the following Error:

That extension is registered to another application. Only extensions associated with QCD can be added. (See the 'file associations' settings page to make sure this extension is set to QCD.)

I noticed in the new version, all QCD files are now called "QCD Audio File" (QCD.audio in Regedit) and "QCD Video File" (QCD.video in Regedit) instead of "QCD Media File" (QCD.file in Regedit).

Could it be that when it checks the File Type, it still looks for QCD.file to determine if it belongs to QCD?

About the original problem, overwriting the Icon Pack DLL with the updated version replaced the icons automatically so this was not actually needed. But I believe it's a rather big issue for anyone who wants to use custom icons so I figured I should report it.
